I’m Apoorva, a third-year Graphic Communication (UX/UI concentration) student at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
I've always loved to create. Growing up, I spent most of my time sketching or taking art classes. In high school, I was introduced to UX design, and it immediately piqued my interest. I loved the idea that design wasn’t just about aesthetics, but about solving real, human problems.
That curiosity led me to explore product design in college. As a first-year, I joined my school’s UX design consultancy club, where I worked on real projects alongside other designers. This pushed me out of my comfort zone and showed me the beauty in collaborating, learning from others, and designing with intention. Since then, I’ve worked on a range of projects that have continued to shape how I think about design and problem-solving.
When I’m not designing, you can find me trying out new hobbies (I’m currently learning how to knit), listening to live music, watching psychological thrillers, or exploring new foods with friends.
